Biography
Bethany is an Associate Professor of Costume Design at the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oneonta, where she teaches courses in costume design, history and technology, along with Theatre Appreciation. Bethany designs several productions within the University each academic year and also works professionally in the region.
She has been designing select productions at the Mac-Haydn Theatre since 2017, including Hello, Dolly! (Berkshire Theatre Award for Best Costume Design nominee), Oklahoma!, Next to Normal, Guys and Dolls, and The Secret Garden.
Bethany has also designed at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre and Fairbanks Light Opera Company in Alaska, and more.
In her free time, Bethany owns and operates a children's party entertainment company, enjoys watching Packers football, attending Renaissance Festivals, making costumes for personal use and spending time with her husband and step-daughter.

Bethany is available for compensated costume design projects in theatre and film in New York State, Connecticut, Vermont, and parts of Pennsylvania, as well as virtual/long distance projects. She does not currently take personal costume/cosplay commissions.
